Not too bad, of course there's a bunch of things that could be fixed/improved that you already are probably aware of. I'd love to see this expanded upon in the future though.

Yeah, I'm not exactly someone who is active on newgrounds anymore because I don't really update or add my new games here, but I will try to fix these current problems here on this game. Thanks for the review! (Updated the game so hopefully your experience is better this time round!)
The idea of it is pretty interesting; you could 'spice' it up a bit if you add some interesting mechanics. For example, the circle can shrink every 10 or so seconds and give the player less room to operate, therefore challenging the player more.
I have no clue how to use javascript so this is pretty cool to me.
The circle does shrink slowly over time, but it's a bit subtle. I've already considered making a followup with more off-the-wall game mechanics, but this was just a simple project to get me out of a small rut. Thanks for the feedback!
This is pretty cool for a Scratch game, I like the style you're going for and the art is simplistic and does the job well. There's a few bugs here and there such as weird dialogue when you click too fast and the game "ending" after finishing one customer, but overall it's not bad; maybe you could polish it up in the future.
Good job on the first submission!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I fixed the bugs, and added a new item.
Funny plot lol.
This is a good start for a platformer, but there's quite a bit to work on. The player character has a bit of a large collider and it's a bit difficult to move between platforms. The player sprite also should probably flip when changing directions. I also feel like controls should be tighter as well, shorter and quicker jumps and less acceleration+decceleration.
Finally some polishing could include adding music, sound effects, particles, etc. Instead of restarting the game completely maybe have a death animation or game over screen.
Still, good start!
Thanks. It's a finished product though and I have no plan on updating it, but I'm glad you still enjoyed it!
An interesting concept, but it hasn't been pulled off too well. The music takes some time before playing and it lacks a main menu, sound effects, player feedback, etc.
However I feel that this concept has a lot of potential, you could definitely expand on this.
Eh maybe. I've been working on my commercial game project and I don't have time to update or expand it, but glad you still liked it.
I like the general idea, also the art too. I can tell that took a while to animate and draw.
Some things that you could add are things like a main menu, sound effects, etc. For a platformer, I typically don't really like floaty jumps and I like more tight controls (I know she's a bee, but maybe you could add a simple jump where she drops faster, and a gliding mechanic). The camera also is zoomed in quite a bit to the point where I have to do "leaps of faith" as I do not know where the next platform is; zooming out the view would work well.
Great start on this project, I'd love to see this more expanded upon.
Thanks very much. It's been hard to work out a lot of the glitches, but i'll keep adding to it
I honestly really like the concept and art. The animations are smooth and I love the ambient music. It's overall a really good game.
Just some things that I've noticed that might help you:
- One of the levels where you have to press a pressure plate to move the door down has a bug where when the player exits the level while the platform is still moving makes the player disappear in the wall. I know I probably worded that a bit weird so message me if you want.
- When the player falls into a gap the level is suddenly reset. A transition would make it feel so much nicer.
- Your game needs WAY MORE JUICE! Add plenty of particle effects and screenshake and it will make the game feel much more interesting and satisfying.
- The player immediately dies when touching any part of the crushers. The player should only die when touching the bottom part.
- The player's death animation with the crushers seem a little off. Maybe instead have a particle explosion when the player is crushed as the death animation looks out of place.
- More collectible objects like coins would be nice. Hints that can be bought with coins would help a lot too.
- The levels start getting boring after a while. Some more background decorations and variations would make the game feel much better.
- (Just a personal opinion) For these kinds of games adding a dash ability would be a great addition.
- The spirits should be emitting some more light. Maybe also instead of plain orbs have them swirl to add some effect.
- Adding shadow to pits that can kill the player is good to help players know that that will kill them as to me it just looks a little weird.
- Some npcs and enemies would spice things up as well as an attack ability for the player.
Still a very good game though, has a lot of potential.
Hi i'm glad you liked it. Yeah if I added more levels I'd want to add enemy NPCs and more traps which kill the player. In regards to the "MORE JUICE" it was my first time using construct and I probably could have utilised the particle effect more as well as other effects and behaviours. I've got some experience in Photoshop so managed to get by using that with the artwork.
I was thinking of maybe having themed expansions too with like 8 or 16 more levels in each.
I love what you've done here. Like what MysteryMadman69 had said, you've taken flappy bird's flight mechanic and turned it into a very unique game. It was very enjoyable and I'm impressed. And especially that this was made for a game jam.
Here are some things that might help you that I've noticed
- Music would be a nice addition
- The game feels a little too static. Adding small details to your environment could completely up your game. Add swaying animations for grass and trees, and maybe even make the grass squash when you land on them. These small changes will help your game feel more alive
- The background is currently a solid color. Environment again could look more alive with a more detailed background. Maybe even change the background as you progress.
- Beginning was a little confusing without reading the description. A small tutorial could help.
I know that this is a game jam with limited time, but just some small things that could help you. Hope my feedback helps. Overall amazing game!

I totally wanted to do that, but simply put i ran out of time, and since than the game did not grab enough attention to put more effort into it.
"- The background is currently a solid color. Environment again could look more alive with a more detailed background. Maybe even change the background as you progress."
That is totally my fault, i think i even have the sprites for it in the cart, i just forgot it.
I'm just starting to try designing games that teach themself. In Switch Jump i tried to create a first map, with helps you understand the two main mechanics, and slowly introduce to every other feature slowly and mixing them up. In this game, this just lack, and it is totally my fault.
Thank you for your detailed feedback here as well!
